Strategic Financial Analyst Role

The Strategic Financial Analyst position plays a pivotal role in supporting decision-making across all operational, financial, and strategic aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, encompassing revenue, costs, gross margins, and AOI across various divisions.
  • Closely collaborate with the business to prepare monthly P&L forecasts.
  • Prepare accurate AOPs, support planning cycles, and contribute to forecasting initiatives.
  • Ensure timely communication and proactive issue resolution to bridge gaps.
  • Support finance and other verticals with reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and within a larger team.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration for consolidating forecasts and AOPs.
  • Deliver thorough and meaningful monthly financial reports.
  • Identify and research variances between forecast, budget, and prior year revenue, expenses, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the team on process improvements and optimization opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Hold a relevant Master's degree (M.Com/MBA) or Chartered Accountancy/Certified Management Accountant equivalent, with an outstanding academic record.
  • Possess relevant years of experience in Finance, along with excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills:
  • Relevant years of FP&A experience.
  • Demonstrate advanced excel skills.
  • Excel in data understanding and analysis, report comparisons, and variance analysis.
  • Added advantage: VBA / Power BI / Tableau / Basic Python coding skills.
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with management levels.
  • Display attention to detail and successfully manage multiple competing priorities.
