About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our territory growth initiatives in CEAT. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of sales success and excellent business acumen.

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager - Territory Growth will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base within the assigned territory. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing defined sales strategies to achieve sales targets;
  • Ensuring prompt supply of goods to customers and channel partners;
  • Providing required information and advice on products and other details;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with all Channel partners and key customers;
  • Monitoring market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales;
  • Implementing BTL plans and branding initiatives for the territory.

Responsibilities

In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, the successful candidate will also:

  • Drive and assist channel partners for upgrading their category by enhancing their performance;
  • Organize Truck meets to provide communication about the various product offerings from CEAT;
  • Conduct field inspections and CFA visits as part of the claim management process;
  • Support the RSM in resolving escalation from channel partners and customers;
  • Follow up with transporter to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of goods to Dealers and Direct fleets.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience;
  • Proven track record of sales success and business development;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
