Kshema is a pioneering digital insurance company in India, specializing in insurance solutions for cultivators in the food and agriculture sectors. Our mission is to empower farmers to build resilience against financial distress caused by extreme climate events and perils.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our insurance business development efforts in the state of Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Indian insurance space, excellent product knowledge, and a proven track record of driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a business strategy for insurance distribution in the assigned states.
- Drive innovation through differentiated product offerings and stay up-to-date with industry trends.
- Manage regulatory and compliance interactions with insurance companies and internal teams.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team to achieve strategic and growth objectives.
- Travel extensively within the assigned states to meet with clients and stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and identify opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.
- Take a data-driven approach to drive business growth and decision-making.
- Collaborate with product operations teams to develop new applications and product enhancements.
- Conduct regular sales training and call center operations training to ensure the ecosystem is up-to-date with the latest capabilities and processes.
We are looking for a sales professional with a strong background in B2B and B2C sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the rural market and its landscape. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, customer-obsessed, and able to speak the local language.
Educational Qualification: MBA from a premier institution with 8-15 years of sales experience.
