Senior MEPF Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MEPF Design Manager to lead and manage our MEPF design projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, innovative, and sustainable solutions that enhance the quality of life for occupants and meet project goals in compliance with national/international codes and standards.

About the Role:

This is a senior leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex MEPF design projects on time and within budget.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Detailed Design: To create detailed designs, engineering documents, and statutory approvals related documentation/drawings in compliance with departments.
  • Project Execution: To deliver MEPF design phases on-time and within-budget, resolve design-related issues, evaluate vendors and products, and manage all stages of MEPF design from conceptualization to final implementation.
  • Construction Documents: To release good for construction drawings and documents with complete accuracy, update WPS trackers, review design batches and closures, and provide real-time project status insights.
  • Compliance and Safety Documentation: To confirm adherence to codes, standards, and safety regulations, conduct comprehensive safety audits and inspections.
  • Training and Team Development: To mentor juniors, document professional development plans, training records, performance reviews, and feedback documentation.
  • Project Oversight and Coordination: To ensure compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards, regularly audit and inspect MEPF systems, develop and enforce safety protocols, and prevent accidents through MEPF design.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in Plumbing, Firefighting, Stormwater, and Sewage network design in large projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable IS Codes, National Building Code, NFPA, etc.
  • Experience in Revit is mandatory.
