Job Title: Chemical Synthesis Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemical Synthesis Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing chemical production batches, ensuring accurate and consistent product quality.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemical processes and procedures, as well as excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of chemical production batches
  • Safely manage pyrophoric reagents and operate pressure reactors
  • Perform filtration of low-melting solids and ensure optimal filtration techniques are applied
  • Report any deviations from specifications and work with senior chemists to troubleshoot and rectify issues
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities, including batch records and test results
  • Generate reports and summaries as required by the production and quality control teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in chemical synthesis and production
  • Strong knowledge of chemical processes and procedures
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
