Chemistry Specialist - Organic Synthesis

We are seeking a highly skilled Chemistry Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative research products.

  • Design, synthesize, and purify novel fluorescent dyes and advanced organic compounds using multi-step synthetic routes.
  • Optimize existing protocols for yield, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Apply advanced purification techniques such as column chromatography, HPLC, recrystallization, and preparative TLC.
  • Characterize compounds using NMR, LC-MS, UV-Vis, and fluorescence spectroscopy.
  • Analyze spectral data to confirm structure, identity, and purity.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed lab documentation.
  • Collaborate with biology and product development teams to align on project goals.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Organic Chemistry or related field.
  • 2–3 years hands-on experience in organic synthesis (industry experience a plus).
  • Strong expertise in fluorophore/organic molecule synthesis & purification.
  • Proficiency in flash chromatography, HPLC, and advanced purification.
  • Analytical expertise in NMR (¹H, ¹³C), MS, and IR spectroscopy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous lab practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, synthesizing, and purifying novel fluorescent dyes and advanced organic compounds. They will also optimize existing protocols for yield, scalability, and efficiency.
