Job Description for Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement process improvements aimed at increasing yield, reducing costs, and optimizing production processes.
  2. Prior experience in solar cell manufacturing or the chemical industry is highly preferred as it provides valuable insights into materials, equipment, and best practices.
  3. Initiate and manage projects efficiently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  4. Handle engineering changes, production trials, model changes, and pilot builds with minimal disruption to operations.
  5. Possess strong mathematical, technical, and basic computer skills to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes.
  6. Develop and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet desired standards and meet internal/external audit requirements.
  7. Be adaptable and capable of handling multiple projects or tasks simultaneously while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
  8. Understand cell manufacturing procedures and contribute to developing SOPs, operating instructions, and documentation standards.
  9. Exhibit excellent communication skills and effectively guide or lead team members to achieve shared goals.
  10. Maintain safe work practices, comply with chemical/gas safety procedures, clean room protocols, ISO standards, and environmental regulations.

Our ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and skills, including full-time B.Tech/Diploma (Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical) education, proficiency in relevant software, and hands-on experience in solar cell manufacturing or the chemical industry.
