Freight Payment Specialist

We seek a dedicated specialist to facilitate payment of freight invoices and harmonize processes with service providers.

  • Coordinate US-based international freight payment process, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Manage 75-100 freight invoices daily within the transportation management system (TMS) and other sources.
  • Resolve invoice errors and facilitate correct timely final payments.
  • Reconcile service provider statements of accounts.
  • Maintain constant communication with internal business partners and service providers.
  • Maintain data for metrics and analytics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations Research Supply Chain Logistics Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years of experience working in logistics operations.
  • Experience managing and working with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical organizational and time management skills.
Key Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for coordinating the payment process for freight invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The specialist will also manage invoices daily, resolve errors, and maintain constant communication with internal business partners and service providers.
