Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Data Engineer to build and maintain scalable data solutions in the cloud.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer to work on cutting-edge technologies like PySpark, AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, and more. You will design and implement robust ETL pipelines using PySpark and AWS Glue, collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data quality and availability, write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data transformation, use Git for version control and code collaboration, and manage scalable data lakes using AWS S3 and related services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that are scalable, reliable, and secure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate representation of data
  • Design and implement ETL pipelines using PySpark and AWS Glue
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data transformation
  • Manage scalable data lakes using AWS S3 and related services
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, and SQL, proficiency in Git and AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, DynamoDB, etc.), familiarity with Databricks and its ecosystem, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of complex projects, work effectively in a team, and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
