Our organization seeks a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to lead the development and optimization of scalable data pipelines on AWS. As a key team member, you will be responsible for crafting efficient data solutions using Python, Scala, Apache Spark, and other cloud-based technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement robust data ingestion, transformation, and integration solutions.
- Manage and optimize cloud storage and compute environments to ensure high-performance data processing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data products and drive business growth.
- Proven expertise in programming languages such as Python and/or Scala.
- Hands-on experience with big data processing using Apache Spark on AWS cloud.
- Proficiency in AWS services like S3, Glue, Redshift, EMR, and Lambda.
- Strong SQL skills for data transformation and analytics.
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CI/CD pipeline management with Jenkins.
- Prior experience in the Healthcare or Life Sciences domain.
- Familiarity with modern data lake and data mesh architectures.
