We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our data engineering efforts on AWS cloud infrastructure.

As a Senior AWS Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and deploy end-to-end data pipelines using Amazon S3, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Redshift. Your expertise in Apache Spark and SQL will enable us to deliver actionable insights and drive business decisions.

You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and create scalable data solutions. With your experience in optimizing data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, you will help us stay ahead of the curve in cloud-native technologies.

To succeed in this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience building and deploying large-scale data processing pipelines in a production environment. Your proficiency in AWS services, including Amazon S3, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda, is essential. Additionally, your strong understanding of data modeling, database design principles, and SQL and Spark SQL will be valuable assets in this position.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing data pipelines on AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Implementing data processing and transformation workflows using Apache Spark and SQL
  • Building and maintaining orchestration workflows to automate data pipeline execution, scheduling, and monitoring
  • Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable data solutions
