Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead our cloud-native data engineering efforts, leveraging Microsoft Azure as the primary platform.

  • Develop scalable, robust, and secure data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Event Hub, Azure Functions, and PySpark.
  • Design and implement ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data, ensuring seamless integration with cloud-based storage solutions.
  • Implement Change Data Capture (CDC), streaming pipelines, and batch ingestion, optimizing performance and cost across data workloads and cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and develop data architectures, including Lakehouse, medallion, and delta architecture patterns, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data architecture patterns, familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or AWS Glue, and experience with cloud-based data platforms.

You will be responsible for technical design, coding, unit testing, test case documentation, and walkthroughs for all assigned Azure-related projects, driving business value through efficient and effective data engineering practices.
