Job Overview

  • We are seeking a seasoned ERP Oracle Functional Consultant to join our team. This is a critical role for any organization looking to implement and optimize their Oracle ERP system.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand project functional and non-functional requirements, as well as business context of the application being developed.
  • Interact with clients to identify scope of testing, expectations, acceptance criteria, and availability of test data and environment.
  • Prepare test plan/strategy, estimating test effort, and preparing schedules for testing activities.
  • Risk management - identify, mitigate, and resolve business and technical risks.
  • Design and develop framework for automated testing following project design and coding guidelines.
  • Communicate measurable quality metrics, highlighting problem areas and suggesting solutions.
  • Participate in retrospective meetings, identifying root cause of quality related issues and improving testing process.

Requirements

  • Total experience 10+ years.
  • Strong techno-functional experience as an Oracle Fusion Finance Functional Implementation Consultant.
  • Extensive experience with key Oracle Finance Modules: Oracle Accounts Receivable, Oracle Cash Management, Oracle Fixed Assets, Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Receivables, and Oracle Payables.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Budgeting, and Tax.
  • Deep knowledge of Multi-Org Setup, including set of books, legal entities, and operating units.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12).

Desired Skills

  • Ability to assess financial systems, identify gaps, and develop strategic roadmaps for improvement.
  • Experience integrating third-party systems with Oracle Cloud Financials.
  • Supporting existing setup environment, including daily issue resolution and fixes.
  • Ability to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner, involving project managers and executive management as appropriate.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure that ideas, strategies, and successes resonate within the team and with clients.
