Job Title:

Cloud Infrastructure Lead

About the Role:

The company is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Lead to manage its global cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in providing L3 technical support and a proven track record of success in this field.

This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to oversee a team of engineers and provide technical guidance where needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the customer SLA is met, resolving complex issues through hands-on approach, and interacting with customers via various channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with partners to find and realize opportunities.
  • Ensure customer SLA is met at all times.
  • Review tickets and escalate to management when required.
  • Oversee a team of Cloud Engineers and provide technical expertise as needed.
  • Act as L3 for escalations and resolve issues using hands-on approach.
  • Interact with customers via tickets, calls, emails, and periodic sync-up calls.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Proven track record of providing L3 technical support.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud, containers, virtualization, and supporting technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux, MySQL, VMware/KVM, and on-prem cloud technology.
  • Experience with monitoring systems such as Prometheus/Nagios/Zabbix/SolarWinds/ManageEngine.
  • Good working knowledge of storage, networking, backup, and Bash.
  • Excellent communication skills with clear verbal and written articulation.
  • Experience in handling a team of minimum 4 people.
Qualifications:
  • Relevant bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
