Senior Strategic Planning Manager

This is a high-level, senior management position responsible for driving the development and implementation of our corporate strategy. The successful candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, and corporate planning.

  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Planning Manager to lead our corporate strategy function. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing our long-term vision and strategy, as well as overseeing the execution of key strategic projects.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement our corporate strategy, aligning with our overall vision and goals.
  • Oversee the execution of strategic projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
  • Identify and evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and alliances.
  • Drive innovation and growth initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation within the organization.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and build support for strategic initiatives.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and business case creation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to senior stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in tools like PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate and deliver results in ambiguous and fast-changing business environments.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • BE | BTech in Chemical Engineering or related field.
  • MBA from a Tier-1 institute (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, etc.).
  • 15 to 17 years of experience in strategic roles within the chemical or allied sectors.
  • Prior exposure to business development, corporate planning, or strategy consulting.
  • Experience in techno-commercial functions is a strong advantage.
