Seeking an attorney to support our corporate team on US law related work, including M&A, corporate finance, venture capital, fund formation and representation, as well as specialty international commercial work.

The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, with experience in corporate law, preferably with a tier-1 corporate law firm in India.

Key responsibilities include evaluating complex legal issues, providing solutions in simple English, synthesizing large volumes of information and presenting conclusions and recommendations.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to work independently, maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills, analytical and consultation skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.

  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advocate in India with at least 1 year PQE
  • LLB or equivalent degree from an Indian national law school (or equivalent) and ranked in the top 20%
  • Strong knowledge of MS Applications (Excel, Word etc.)
  • Ability to evaluate complex legal issues and provide solutions in simple English
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of information and present conclusions and recommendations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to assess risk and opportunity
  • Proven team player with demonstrated teamwork, analytical and consultation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationships
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and maintain a strong work ethic
  • Excellent attention to detail with stellar drafting skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
