Senior Manager - Legal K12 Techno Services Pvt. Ltd. - Bengaluru, Karnataka, India (On-site)

Designation: Senior Manager - Legal

Department: Legal Team

Work Location: Yeshwanthpur (Bangalore)

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university in India

Experience: 5 - 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a reputed law firm or as in-house counsel, with strong exposure to litigation and dispute resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

Litigation Management:

  • Handle and oversee all ongoing litigations, including writ petitions, civil suits, arbitration proceedings, and commercial disputes.
  • Draft plaints, written statements, affidavits, replies, and applications for court proceedings.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external counsels for case strategy, court appearances, and updates.
  • Maintain records and track timelines for all ongoing and potential litigation matters.

Contract & Agreement Management:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements such as lease agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, employment agreements, consultancy contracts, and service agreements.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws and safeguard the company's interests.

Legal Advisory:

  • Provide day-to-day legal advice on corporate, operational, and compliance matters.
  • Advise management on the impact of new laws, regulations, and judicial pronouncements affecting the company's business.

Regulatory & Compliance:

  • Liaise with government, regulatory, and quasi-judicial authorities as required.
  • Ensure timely filing and follow-up of trademark, patent, and other intellectual property applications.

Internal Coordination:

  • Work closely with various departments to gather case-related information and provide legal support.
  • Conduct legal training for internal teams to mitigate operational risks.

  • Solid business acumen with the ability to provide practical legal solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
  • High level of integrity, professional ethics, and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple legal matters under tight deadlines.

Preferred: Immediate joiners or those with short notice periods.
