Procurement Leader

The procurement leader will oversee the development and execution of effective sourcing strategies for the Air Pollution Control business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans aligned with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Drive bulk purchasing and project-based procurement for long-lead items and engineered bought-outs.
  • Analyze spend data to identify cost optimization opportunities using Power BI, ERP, and MS Excel.

Manage vendor relationships, develop a reliable supplier base, and negotiate contracts with suppliers.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering with an MBA (preferred).
  • 15-20 years of experience in project procurement with at least 5-7 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in EPC, environmental solutions, or industrial equipment sectors is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of project procurement, rate contracting, and e-auctions.
  • Familiarity with technical specifications of EPC/APC projects and bought-out items.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, Power BI, and PLM platforms.
  • Knowledge of commercial terms, INCO terms, BG/LCs, and import/export documentation.

Risk Management & Compliance

  • Evaluate all procurement activities against company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
  • IDentify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Behavioral Skills:
  • Maintain high integrity, ethical conduct, and accountability.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and stakeholder management across engineering, project management, finance, and legal functions.

  • On-time material availability for projects.
  • Procurement cost savings versus budget.
  • Rate contract/E-auctioning coverage.
