Job Opportunity: Quality and Release Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Quality and Release Manager. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely release of our products by defining testing procedures, implementing test automation, and certifying readiness for production.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in software quality assurance and release management. They will also have expertise in test automation tools and methodologies, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The successful candidate will drive the quality and timely release of our products, collaborating with development and product teams for smooth integration and deployment of software releases.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define comprehensive testing procedures and implement them accordingly.
  • Choose and implement test automation tools and strategies to ensure seamless releases.
  • Certify and approve software readiness for production releases, ensuring all relevant work items include agreed-upon definitions of done (DoD) for proper text coverage.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams for smooth integration and deployment of software releases.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance and release management.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous integration and deployment practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Jira and other project management tools.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
