Key Role:

This strategic position focuses on driving growth by boosting sales and developing strong merchant relationships for sustainable business expansion, while introducing new merchants to fuel overall company growth.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage effective sales distribution channels across designated territories
  • Nurture and maintain excellent working relationships with current and potential merchants to create a sales-driven environment
  • Onboard new merchants and expand presence in offline markets
  • Train key merchants on payment solutions and showcase products
  • Monitor competition and share insights with the leadership team
  • Ensure brand visibility in assigned territories
  • Develop strategy for recruitment and people management to drive high performance
  • Establish standards for productivity, customer service, and quality of service

Educational Background:

  • Graduate or MBA degree with a good academic record

Required Skills and Expertise:

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in relevant field
  • Practical experience with merchant engagement, acquiring, and payment solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong sales/customer service focus
  • Results-oriented approach, focused, and driven
  • Good understanding of merchant-facing roles and payment solution ecosystems
  • Field sales experience with proven track records of increasing sales and revenue
  • Exposure to start-up environments is beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a bias for impact
  • High ethics and discretion when dealing with customers
  • Drive for results, able to demonstrate/quantify success relative to established targets and metrics
