Role Summary:

We are seeking an accomplished Credit Expert to lead our credit function. This is a challenging opportunity for experienced professionals with a strong background in credit functions and risk management.

The ideal candidate will have 18-20 years of relevant industry experience, with extensive knowledge of credit policy and processes in lending and leasing products.

About the Role:

This senior position involves managing a portfolio comprising SME and corporate clients. The successful candidate will develop and implement effective credit underwriting and risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients across multiple asset classes.
  • Develop and implement credit underwriting and risk management strategies to drive business growth.
  • Lead high-performing teams to foster collaboration among internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and digital tools used in credit underwriting and risk management.
  • Effectively manage large teams and handle complex stakeholder relationships.

Requirements:

  • A recognized CA or MBA Finance qualification from a reputable institution.
  • Strong experience in handling credit functions in banking or non-banking financial companies.
  • Exposure to multiple asset classes, including automobiles, equipment, and real estate.
  • Understanding of ECL/loss models and CIBIL knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in leasing is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of new-age underwriting and assessment tools and technology.
