About the Role

We are seeking a Product Designer to join our Design Team. As a Product Designer, you will be responsible for building tools that make our bank run efficiently and drive growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of designers, product owners, engineers, and analysts to deliver best-in-class design solutions for our loan processing software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and shipping high-quality, user-centred improvements that make our internal tools faster, clearer, and easier to use.
  • Collaborating closely with product owners, engineers, and analysts to scope, build, and ship solutions that solve meaningful problems and support business growth.
  • Defining the vision, shaping the roadmap, and leading the design from early concepts to polished UI.
  • Working across the full design lifecycle, from translating insights into ideas to user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and into production.
  • Building a strong understanding of our users, contributing to research, digging into behaviour data, and turning insights into informed design decisions.
  • Validating ideas early and often, using rapid prototyping, user feedback, and experimentation to learn what works and iterate quickly.
  • Advocating for design at every level, raising the visibility of design across the business and supporting the growth of our practice and team.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a thoughtful, empathetic product designer, with a portfolio showing solid UX and UI design across real products in mobile and web.
  • Simplifying complex problems into clear, human-centred solutions, thinking in systems, designing with intent, and communicating ideas visually and verbally.
  • Strong visual craft in typography, layout, and UI polish, anchoring design decisions in usability and behavioural insight.
  • Technical awareness, designing with platform constraints in mind, collaborating closely with engineers, and understanding the downstream impact of your work.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, giving and receiving feedback well, and taking ownership of your product area.
