Database Specialist Role


This is a key position for an expert in database management and development. We are looking for a skilled individual to lead our team's efforts in designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance databases.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MySQL Enterprise versions, including upgrading and patching, as well as migrating between MySQL and MariaDB.

Additionally, the candidate should be proficient in configuring and troubleshooting MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) and Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM).


Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Database Expertise: Extensive knowledge of database concepts, including permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring.
  • Proficiency in logical backups (mysqldump/mysqlpump), InnoDB Cluster, Master-Slave replication configurations, and encryption.
  • Experience in using open-source high availability tools like keepalived and tungstun.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams to develop high-performance database functionalities and resolve MySQL performance issues.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) for solutions and troubleshooting.
