About Our Role:

We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full life cycle support of client's database(s).

This includes database system design, development, testing, and performance tuning. The role also involves working with developers to design and build new structures to support application enhancements and promote database changes throughout the Dev, UAT and Prod databases.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical abilities to solve complex database performance issues using AWR/ASH/ADDM/TKPROF/SQLT/10046 tracing/OSWatcher/CHM etc.

In addition, they will possess strong knowledge on managing Automatic storage management and database programming/query troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Full life cycle support of client's database(s)
  • Database system applies RAC and non-RAC for OLTP and warehouse, Active DataGuard for DR, partitioning on 12c and 19c on premises and cloud environment
  • Responsible for database backups, design, development, testing, and performance tuning
  • Will work with developers to design and build new structures to support application enhancements and promote database changes throughout the Dev, UAT and Prod databases

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of related experience with implementation and administration of database systems
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Able to administer, manage and tune high-transaction Standalone/RAC production server environment(s) on premises and cloud environments
  • Strong analytical abilities to solve complex database performance issues using AWR/ASH/ADDM/TKPROF/SQLT/10046 tracing/OSWatcher/CHM etc.
  • Strong knowledge on managing Automatic storage management
  • Knowledge on database programming and query troubleshooting

Please note that the ideal candidate must be able to administer, manage and tune high-transaction Standalone/RAC production server environment(s) on premises and cloud environments. This requires strong knowledge on managing Automatic storage management and database programming/query troubleshooting.
