Job Title: Senior Resource Analyst PMO

About the Role

As a Senior Resource Analyst PMO, you will work closely with the wider Resource Management Team to ensure that our professionals are allocated efficiently to support project delivery and overall company success. This requires a keen understanding of resource management in a professional services environment, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain resource management processes and procedures to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization.
  • Collaborate with project managers and department heads to gather resource requirements and create resource plans for ongoing and upcoming projects.
  • Monitor resource utilization and availability, and proactively identify and address any resource constraints or bottlenecks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resource allocations, availability, headcount, and utilization.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to provide regular updates on resource allocation status and address any resource-related issues or concerns.
  • Produce and analyze resource utilization data, present to leadership, and advise on opportunities for optimization and improvement.
  • Support the Head of Resource Management in developing and implementing strategies to improve resource efficiency and maximize resource utilization.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on resource management best practices and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate skills & certification information for resources and work with senior resource analysts to identify future skills gaps.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Resource Management in a professional services organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Stakeholder Management, with the confidence to collaborate confidently with senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of resource management software and tools, as well as professional services automation (PSA) platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies commonly used in the professional services industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
  • Resilient and proactive with a positive, agile attitude towards changing demands and peaks/troughs in workload.
