Job DescriptionThis role involves:
- Reaching workshops to verify documents, assess vehicle damages, and distribute benefits according to vehicle segments; negotiating with dealers to minimize costs.
- Finalizing and examining claims benefits for customers to establish a satisfactory relationship between the organization and the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Minimize cost and maximize closing ratio by negotiating with dealers, avoiding cost wastage in workshops, conducting regular training on claims policies, and facilitating faster settlements.
- Segment vehicles accurately to minimize expenses.
- Timely follow-up with agents and visit workshops within 48 hours of receiving claims to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain high-quality claims processing by evaluating customer claims properly and ensuring claims are closed within defined timelines.
- Address claims-related issues in accordance with regulations.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations regarding motor vehicle assessments, repairs, and insurance claim processes.
- Communicate effectively with policyholders, repair shops, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address queries or concerns.
- Detect and report suspected cases of fraud or misrepresentation during the assessment process and work closely with the investigation team if necessary.
Requirements:
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- A diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering (10+2+3) or BE in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
- 2-4 years of experience in an automobile workshop, preferably in a body shop, or in an insurance company's motor claims department.
Salary Estimate: ₹45,000 - ₹80,000 per annum based on location, qualifications, and experience. This estimate may vary based on individual performance and company policies.
