Job Summary

LANXESS is seeking a highly skilled Deputy Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for generating and evaluating innovative ideas for new products and process development, in accordance with market and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement new methods and process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Lead a team of chemists and oversee the quality assurance and quality control of products and processes.
  • Initiate and execute activities for developing laboratory and pilot plant infrastructure, and supervise scale-up trials.
  • Write technical reports, publications, and patents.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable directives and acts.
  • Develop and implement training programs for subordinates to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemistry or M.Sc. Organic Chemistry.
  • More than 10 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools and LIMS and SAP.
