LANXESS is a leading specialty chemicals group that develops and produces chemical intermediates, additives, specialty chemicals, and high-tech plastics. We are seeking a Deputy Manager to lead our team in ensuring the safety of our processes and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in conducting HAZOP studies and implementing safety actions
  • Develop and implement safety procedures, including management of change, job safety analysis, and work permit systems
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Prepare safety dashboards, HSE training calendars, and report KPI data to the HSE management team
  • Conduct monthly HSE meetings, training, and refresher training to plant teams, schedule internal audits, and plant safety inspections
  • Support process improvement, energy reduction, cost-saving initiatives, plant modifications, and projects
  • Knowledgeable of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and related documentation

Requirements:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a reputed institute
  • 7-10 years of experience in chemical/petrochemical industries
  • Good communication, presentation, and analytical skills
