Database Expert Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to lead our database solutions.

  • Design, develop, test and deploy complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts, packages, procedures, functions and triggers.
  • Optimize SQL queries for performance and efficiency by analyzing database structures and query execution plans.
  • Collaborate with application developers to create and implement efficient database architectures.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot database-related issues using advanced diagnostic techniques.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and quality standards.
  • Work closely with business analysts to understand requirements and develop tailored database solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for database procedures, structures and processes.

Key Skills:

  • 3-4 years of experience working with Oracle databases in a development environment.
  • Strong understanding of relational database concepts and advanced SQL query optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing them for high-performance.
  • Experience with PL/SQL programming, including the creation of stored procedures, functions, triggers and packages.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database design principles.
  • Knowledge of database security practices, data integrity concepts and performance tuning techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and communication abilities.

Requirements & Experience:

  • 3-4 years of experience with Oracle 19c or later versions.
  • Strong knowledge of database architecture, design and implementation methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for database code management.
