Senior Legal Technology Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Technology Lead to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level and lead the way in implementing innovative legal technology solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in legal technology, with experience in managing end-to-end initiatives and collaborating with technical teams. They will be responsible for assessing technology needs, researching and evaluating new technologies, and implementing and managing legal technology systems and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assessing technology requirements and developing recommendations for implementation.
  2. Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including technical teams, business leaders, and vendors.
  3. Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  4. Coordinating training and support for the legal operations team on the use of technology.
  5. Ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic plans.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Legal Technology as a Consultant or Product Manager or Product Owner or Legal Operations Manager.
  • Strong business and functional knowledge of matter management, e-billing, and related functions in a corporate legal department.
  • Experience in implementing legal software systems like Onit, Law Manager, Legal Holds.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a track record of owning and managing end-to-end initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, including task prioritization, timeline management, and successful project delivery.
  • Experience with Agile software development processes.
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders at various levels in the organization.
  • Strategic thinking and big-picture orientation, with a focus on aligning technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in managing relationships with technology vendors and consultants.
