Job Opportunity: Legal Manager Position

A seasoned legal professional with expertise in commercial contracts, risk management, and dispute resolution is sought to lead our organization's legal department. As a key member of the team, you will provide expert advice on high-profile matters, develop internal policies, and manage legal risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough research, draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements, vendor contracts, service agreements, NDAs, strategic partnership agreements, and other contractual documents.
  • Identify potential legal risks and develop proactive solutions to mitigate them. Create and implement effective policies and procedures to manage legal exposure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions, including due diligence and documentation.
  • Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters, including coordination with external counsel, drafting responses, and representing the company in court proceedings when required.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive compliance programs, ensuring adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university and admission to the Indian Bar.
  • ACS/FCS membership with the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
  • At least 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department of a multinational corporation.
  • Proven expertise in corporate and commercial law, with a strong track record in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, and governance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams.
