At Pepsales AI, we're seeking a Senior Backend Developer who can architect and scale backend systems that power real-time data-heavy AI applications. This is a core engineering role where your work will directly impact product performance and customer success.

About the Role
  • We need someone with 4–7 years of experience to design and implement high-performance RESTful APIs & WebSocket services, as well as build robust data flows and storage schemas with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis.
  • The ideal candidate will also deploy and manage containerized services with Docker & AWS (EC2, ALB, S3, Route 53) and set up CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery cycles.
  • A strong collaborator will ensure system resilience with distributed, fault-tolerant architecture and evaluate modern backend frameworks like Flask, Django, FastAPI, Node.js, Kubernetes, etc.
Key Responsibilities
  • Backend System Architect: Design and optimize scalable microservices-based backend systems.
  • Data Engineer: Build robust data flows and storage schemas with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis.
  • API Designer: Design and implement high-performance RESTful APIs & WebSocket services.
  • Cloud Expert: Deploy and manage containerized services with Docker & AWS (EC2, ALB, S3, Route 53).
  • CI/CD Specialist: Set up CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery cycles.
  • System Resiliency Engineer: Ensure system resilience with distributed, fault-tolerant architecture.
