Role - Technical Coordinator

The Technical Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate completion of work. This involves following up with Investment Managers, resolving complex transactions, and ensuring daily tasks are completed on time and accurately. The Technical Coordinator must be analytically and procedurally competent, representing the team on cross-functional processes or project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process all transactions
  2. Review and verify accuracy of data/duties and proper authorization of payment
  3. Maintain updates and retrieve departmental reports and resolve problems encountered without breaching the SLA
  4. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of filling group email as well as complying with SLA and regulations
  5. Focus on resolution of complex transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines, and/or processes
  6. Prepare and maintain complete documentation and procedure on the process to support individual and create needful documents for the new comers
  7. Train new partners
  8. Proactively researches and resolves problems encountered with performing daily tasks and refer more complex problems to manager or team leader at the timely manner
  9. Responds to inquiries regarding the exceptions via eRM, emails, swifts, and other reports and maintenance and keeps manager or team leader up to date on all relevant issues; escalating any issues as appropriate
  10. To have sufficient knowledge on FX basic trade flow and settlement method
  11. Act as central source of contact in researching and resolution of issues with minimum help of team leader or manager
  12. Assist Team Leader in the day-to-day functioning
  13. Any other duties that may be assigned by the management from time to time
Tools and Applications

Fundmaster, EDM, CLS, MTS, Murex

Qualifications

Minimum 24 months experience in current role

Knowledge/Skills
  1. Excellent written & oral communication skills
  2. Possesses good communication & analytical skills
  3. Proven ability to build strong relationships with partners on site/ across business lines/ juniors and seniors
  4. A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate
  5. A client-focused approach
  6. Possesses working knowledge of MS Office
  7. Exposure and understanding of Risk, Audit, and Compliance factors
  8. Knowledge of Capital Markets with exposure to Hedge funds/ Private Equity/ Comingled Funds/ Fund of Hedge Funds
Experience

Sustainable performance demonstrated through examples/evidence, the above-listed core skills and competencies in the current role over a period of 24 months

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree - Minimum

B.Com, BBA, BBM – Preferred

B.SC –Math, BA – Acceptable

Minimum Requirements
  1. Understanding of Foreign Exchange Trade Life Cycle
  2. Good understanding of Multi-Currency Payment Processing
  3. High level of Proficiency in English
  4. Good written and oral communication
  5. Computer literate
  6. Good knowledge of accounting, finance, Banking operations, Securities industry
  7. Good knowledge of MS office
  8. Min 2 years work experience in related field or IB
  9. Ready to work in Night Shifts and Sunday's
