Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join our Global FX team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of work, following up on queries between IMLG and Investment Managers, and resolving complex transactions that require expertise in interpreting policies, guidelines, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Review and verify data for accuracy and proper authorization of payment
  • Maintain and retrieve departmental reports, resolving problems encountered without breaching SLA
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of filling group emails and complying with SLA and regulations
  • Focus on resolving complex transactions that require expertise in interpreting policies, guidelines, and processes
  • Prepare and maintain complete documentation and procedures to support individual tasks and create necessary documents for new team members
  • Train new partners and proactively research and resolve problems encountered with daily tasks, referring complex issues to manager or team leader as needed
  • Respond to inquiries regarding exceptions via eRM, emails, swifts, and other reports, maintaining manager or team leader up to date on all relevant issues and escalating as appropriate
  • Have sufficient knowledge of FX basic trade flow and settlement methods
  • Act as central source of contact for researching and resolving issues with minimal assistance from team leader or manager
  • Assist Team Leader in day-to-day functioning and perform other duties assigned by management
Requirements
  • Minimum 24 months experience in current role
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good communication and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with partners on site, across business lines, juniors, and seniors
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through, escalating as appropriate
  • A client-focused approach
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Exposure and understanding of Risk, Audit, and Compliance factors
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets with exposure to Hedge funds, Private Equity, Comingled Funds, and Fund of Hedge Funds
Experience

Sustainable performance demonstrated through examples and evidence of the above-listed core skills and competencies in the current role over a period of 24 months. 2 years as Senior Analyst.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree - Minimum
  • B.Com, BBA, BBM - Preferred
  • B.SC - Math, BA - Acceptable
  • Understanding of Foreign Exchange Trade Life Cycle
  • Good understanding of Multi-Currency Payment Processing
  • High level of proficiency in English
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Computer literate
  • Good knowledge of accounting, finance, Banking operations, Securities industry
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Min 2 years work experience in related field or IB
  • Ready to work in Night Shifts and Sunday's
