About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Desktop Virtualization Specialist.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining desktop virtualization solutions using Citrix technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks.

  • Solution Design: Design end-to-end virtual desktop solutions by analyzing business requirements assessing existing infrastructure and designing scalable secure architectures
  • Citrix Integration: Design and integrate Citrix products including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Citrix ADC and Citrix Cloud with Azure virtual desktop services
  • Azure Configuration: Configure and manage Azure virtual machines session hosts virtual networks and storage to create and maintain Azure virtual desktop environments
  • Identity Management: Design and implement identity and access management strategies including integration with Azure Active Directory multifactor authentication and role-based access controls
  • Network Infrastructure: Design and configure network connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure including network security measures such as firewalls VPNs and load balancers
  • Performance Optimization: Optimize virtual desktop environments for performance scalability and user experience Monitor and tune resource allocation load balancing and network bandwidth
  • Security Compliance: Implement security measures including data encryption access controls and compliance requirements to protect virtual desktop environments
  • High Availability Disaster Recovery: Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime and data loss
  • Monitoring Troubleshooting: Set up monitoring tools and processes to proactively monitor the virtual desktop infrastructure Identify and troubleshoot performance issues system errors and network connectivity problems
Required Skills:

To be successful in this role you should have the following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or a related field
  • Several years of experience as a Citrix Architect or similar role designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies
  • Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services including Azure Virtual Machines Azure Active Directory and virtual networks
  • Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Citrix ADC and Citrix Cloud
  • Experience in network design including connectivity options firewalls VPNs and load balancers
  • Familiarity with identity and access management concepts including Azure Active Directory multifactor authentication and role-based access controls
  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies
  • Knowledge of security best practices data encryption access controls and compliance requirements
  • Experience in designing high availability and disaster recovery solutions for virtual desktop environments
