Technical Desktop Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to fill this key role.
This position involves providing first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Microsoft Outlook, installing and configuring Windows OS and basic software applications, and using ticketing tools to log, track, and close IT support tickets as per SLA.
Additional duties include performing system upgrades, patches, and hardware/software installations, coordinating with other IT teams for escalations or network-related issues, maintaining asset records, and providing remote or onsite support to end-users across departments.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Outlook troubleshooting, proficiency in Windows OS configuration & installation, working knowledge of ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar, and a basic understanding of hardware and network troubleshooting.
A good communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, is essential for this role.
Applicants should hold a graduation degree in any stream (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech, etc.) and have a minimum 1.5 years of relevant desktop support experience.
