Job Title: Financial Operations Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Finance Operations Accounting Analysis FOAA team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial analysis and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely completion of month-end activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform month-end activities, including closing sub-ledgers, general ledger account reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Prepare and share month-end Flux analysis with stakeholders, highlighting changes and providing insights.
  • Demonstrate expertise in accounting principles and systems design, identifying complex issues and developing effective solutions.
  • Evaluate and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls, driving process improvements and excellence.
  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations, GST tax returns, and sub-ledger reports, addressing issues promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with auditors on audit-related queries, ensuring smooth audit completion.
  • Ensure GRC compliance, internal control, and alignment of improvements with stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Experience using data to inform business decisions.
  • CA with 0-4 years of post-qualification experience in month-end closing, working with various sub-ledgers, and accounting knowledge.
  • Knowledge of standard software, including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills.
  • GST or VAT indirect tax knowledge in accounting compliance.
