Job Title: Financial Insights Specialist

Overview of the Role:

The Finance Analyst position involves leveraging advanced Excel skills, financial modeling expertise, and analytical thinking to drive business insights. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models, dashboards, and tools that support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

This role requires strong technical skills, including experience with Excel VBA, Macros, and advanced Excel functions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure reporting accuracy. Additionally, you will be responsible for automating recurring financial reports, analyzing gross margin, and identifying process improvement opportunities in reporting cycles.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and tools to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  2. Automate recurring financial reports using Excel VBA, Macros, and advanced Excel functions.
  3. Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and Business Finance teams to gather data, validate assumptions, and ensure reporting accuracy.
  4. Identify process improvement opportunities in reporting cycles and recommend automation or simplification strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Automating recurring financial reports, analysis using Excel VBA, Macros, and advanced Excel functions.
  • Good understanding of IT services industry P&L construct.
  • Design and maintain financial models, dashboards, and tools to support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis.
  • Experience in managing shared cost accounting, resource allocation to billing reconciliation.
  • Ability to identify improvement opportunities in reporting cycles.
  • Ability to review and analyze gross margin, BOI.
