We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary leader to drive our programme management efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement long-term strategies and annual plans for programme themes.
  • Identify opportunities for collaboration and innovation to enhance impact.
  • Oversee select programme areas to ensure timely, high-quality delivery in line with agreed goals.
  • Provide guidance to project teams to enhance operational efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Engage with implementing agencies, knowledge partners, and peer organisations to strengthen programme outcomes.
  • Represent the organisation in external forums as required.
  • Offer mentoring support to mid-level team members to help them grow into leadership roles.
  • Promote a collaborative culture that values learning and accountability.
  • Ensure effective systems for tracking progress, capturing lessons, and adapting strategies.
  • Support preparation of reports, presentations, and knowledge products.
  • Contribute inputs to resource allocation and monitoring utilisation in assigned programme areas.
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance frameworks.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social sciences, development studies, public policy, or a related field.
  • At least 12–15 years of relevant experience in programme design, management, or evaluation within the development sector, including experience in leadership roles.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage multi-stakeholder partnerships.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to think strategically and translate plans into results.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse cultural and social contexts.
