Agile Development Team Lead

As a seasoned Agile Development Team Lead, you will spearhead and manage the execution of software development projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software products that exceed client expectations.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Sprint Ceremonies: Establish and anchor Scrum Teams across various projects, ensuring sprint ceremonies are conducted according to defined Agile methodologies.
  • Project Planning and Execution: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and execute projects according to Agile principles.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate agile development teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues impacting project timelines or quality.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders, providing regular status updates and reports.
  • Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define and implement quality standards and processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, implementing Agile best practices and lessons learned to enhance efficiency and product quality.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience as an Agile Development Team Lead in the IT industry, with at least 5 years of experience in this role.
  • Certification: Mandatory Certified Agile Practitioner (CAPM) certification.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
