Job Title: MEP Systems Expert

This is a full-time remote role for an MEP Systems Expert. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and managing building information models for various projects, including healthcare, education, residential, aviation, and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers to ensure effective collaboration and high-quality output throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of all MEP activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Review MEP designs, propose modifications to improve cost efficiency, constructability, and system performance, and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex technical issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure integration of MEP systems with other building elements.
  • Liaise with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and clients to align MEP works with overall project goals and resolve any interdisciplinary conflicts.
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures for MEP installations, ensuring adherence to specifications and industry best practices.
  • Display strong commercial acumen to drive project priorities, manage budgets, and identify opportunities for value engineering.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field.
  • Experience: Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in MEP engineering, with a proven track record in a senior or lead role on large projects.
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of MEP systems, codes, and standards.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve complex technical and coordination issues efficiently.
  • Project Management: Proficient in project management tools and methodologies.
