Job Title: BSW Expert

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a software specialist in the automotive industry. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in analyzing and deriving requirements for Basic Software based on customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough analysis and derivation of requirements for Basic Software according to customer specifications.
  • Implement, configure, and test Basic Software components in line with established standards.
  • Maintain close relationships with external customers and counterpart teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and ensure seamless alignment throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software developers, architects, and testers, to integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software components.
  • Investigate complex integration issues and identify root causes, taking prompt action to rectify problems.
  • Oversee continuous integration and test result analysis, ensuring quality control measures are in place.

Qualifications:

  • Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Automotive/Computer Science/Controls Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
  • Experience Required: A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the Automotive Industry.

Required Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in configuring, integrating, and testing AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules along with RTE across automotive ECUs.
  • Hands-on experience in developing Complex Device Drivers (CDD) and performing MCAL configuration for various microcontrollers (Infineon, Renesas, or NXP microcontrollers).
  • Hands-on experience in integration and testing of AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) with application layer components.
  • Demonstrable domain knowledge in e-mobility systems such as Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Inverters would be an added advantage.
  • Experience in safety-critical software development aligned with ISO 26262 functional safety standards would be beneficial.
