Job Description

As a Software Development Test Manager, you will lead the quality assurance and test automation initiatives. This critical role ensures the delivery of high-quality software products that meet client and business expectations.

  • Lead and mentor the SDT team to drive quality assurance and test automation initiatives.
  • Implement robust automation testing strategies and frameworks using tools like Playwright, RestAssured, Selenium, and K6.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
  • Review technical and functional requirements to ensure full test coverage.
  • Oversee planning and execution of all SDT/QA activities, including sprint, regression, performance, integration, and UAT.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement in testing practices and QA metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-12 years of experience in SDT/QA/Automation, with at least 3 years in a managerial or team lead role and 2+ years of performance testing experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience in test automation and SDT practices.
  • Proficient with automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, RestAssured, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar.
  • Expertise in at least two programming languages (Java, JavaScript/Typescript preferred).
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
