Senior Quality Assurance Manager

Lead and manage the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) functions across all manufacturing stages – raw material inspection, in-process quality, and final product inspection.Ensure consistent quality in machined components derived from castings and forgings through process monitoring and control.Develop and maintain ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 quality management systems and ensure compliance.Manage and improve incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes for machined, cast, and forged components.Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and customer quality issues (8D, 5Why, Fishbone).Drive supplier quality assurance for casting and forging vendors – including audits, qualification, and performance monitoring.Plan, manage, and execute internal audits, customer audits, and third-party certification audits.Own and lead the APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC processes for new and existing products.Hands-on experience with quality tools like 5S, Lean, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt preferred).Implement quality KPIs (First Pass Yield, Rejection PPM, Customer Complaints) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to enhance product and process quality.Manage internal audits and support external audits by customers and certification bodies.Build, mentor, and lead a team of quality engineers and inspectors.
