About this role:

We are seeking an experienced quality assurance professional to join our team.

As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities
  • Identifying, recording, documenting thoroughly and tracking bugs
  • Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  • Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  • Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and training users to implement solutions
  • Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  • Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
  • Knowledge of SQL and scripting
  • SDLC and STLC, QA process, methodology and tools; Working knowledge of Agile is an added advantage
  • Expert in end-to-end testing at the various approaches & techniques used in testing,
    Strong in Manual and willing to learn new technologies. Be creative and innovative to improve efficiency and quality of work.
  • A deep understanding of test planning and delivery challenges
