Job Opportunity:

  • We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance expert to lead our testing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive automated testing and quality assurance for diverse software components.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand software functionality and propose comprehensive QA strategies.
  • Develop and maintain testing infrastructure, ensuring seamless unit testing, isolation, limited logging, and selective testing.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure adherence to established software development and source control processes.

Requirements:

  • At least 8 years of experience in the IT industry, with a strong background in automation testing and QA.
  • Experience as a QA lead or architect, with hands-on leadership skills and a deep understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Proficiency in coding languages like Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, and API automation using Rest Assured or similar tools.
  • Experience in developing automation frameworks from scratch and working with BDD using Cucumber and TDD.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian suite, Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, as well as code repositories like GitHub and CI tools like Jenkins/Bamboo.
  • Ability to write SQL database queries and exceptional defect analysis and triaging skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with SQL joins, database testing, and mocking or virtualization tool sets.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or K6.
  • Familiarity with tools like TOSCA, Q-test, or Azure Test Plans.
