Technical Leadership and Infrastructure Management

Job Description

As a technical leader, you will provide strategic direction and support to a distributed team managing globally distributed infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, deploy, and administer Linux-based systems across multiple environments.
  • Administer the BMC Discovery Software which serves the role of Configuration Management Inventory collection from nearly every type of IT Infrastructure that exists.
  • Troubleshoot Network Connectivity and/or Credential issues such as SSH to Linux/Unix Platforms, WMI Query and PowerShell to Windows, SNMP to Network Devices, API Connections (for example Credential and Connection to Cloud Providers AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
  • Develop plans to improve quality for each project that impacts the platform.
  • Ensure platform procedures are developed with best practices and standards and are well documented.
  • Helps to innovate on new methodologies to improve Business Operations.
  • Coaches junior level employees on Business Operations best practices.
  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services—from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills and experience in Linux, BMC Discovery, PLSQL, Splunk, AWS, and GCP.
