Front Desk Representative

The Front Desk Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure, setting the tone for a pleasant stay.
  • Efficiently perform check-in and check-out procedures, handling guest queries and requests with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room availability, rates, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records using the property management system (PMS), ensuring seamless transactions and optimal data security.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely room readiness and special guest arrangements.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in a front office or guest service role.
  • Proficiency in using PMS software such as Opera, IDS, Cloudbeds, etc. is essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively interact with diverse guests.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a guest-first attitude are necessary for delivering exceptional service.
  • The ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, is a must.
  • A well-groomed and professional appearance is essential for representing the hotel's brand.
