Job Description

As a key player in our organization, you will be instrumental in driving sales and marketing of specialty chemicals in the steel manufacturing sector. Your role will involve a blend of technical knowledge and practical experience in steel production to understand client requirements and present effective solutions that meet their needs while ensuring impactful product deliverables and client satisfaction.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans for specialty chemicals tailored to the steel industry. This will involve identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while nurturing relationships with existing clients across the steel sector.

Key responsibilities will include delivering comprehensive technical presentations to clients, articulating the benefits of products and their applications, collaborating with R&D to align products with client feedback and market needs specific to the industry, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, addressing client inquiries and providing extensive product support to enhance user experience, and monitoring product performance in client applications, communicating progress and results to customers.

To achieve these goals, you will need to possess excellent relationship skills, with the ability to find, maintain, and grow profitable relationships across the steel sector. A proven track record in sales and marketing, preferably with experience in specialty chemicals or allied products tailored to steel manufacturing plants, is essential. Additionally, you must have a comprehensive understanding of steel manufacturing processes, a strong network within the steel sector, and the ability to analyze customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Strong customer focus with perceptive and engaging customer management skills
  • Proven project management and strategic planning capabilities
  • A self-motivated, results-oriented approach with readiness to travel frequently

Qualifications:

  • Min. 18 - 20 years of relevant work experience in industrial sales catering to the steel industry
  • BE in Metallurgy / Chemical Engineering
