**Job Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the design department, you will be responsible for researching and developing designs for projects across various sectors, including SPM and manufacturing.

In this role, you will modify existing products or designs to increase efficiency or improve performance, and manage the process of turning your designs into reality.

You will work closely with clients and colleagues to develop a G,A design brief, use mathematical knowledge and skills to design solutions, research whether the design will work and be cost-effective, assess and test the usability, environmental impact, and safety of a design, and use computer-aided design (Solid works).

Additionally, you will make a material bom, hardware bom, sheet metal design working, and manage the development process, including tracking progress and costs, and keeping clients informed.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field;
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in the manufacturing industry;
  • Proficiency in Solid Works (3D CAD) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.);
